The "Distorted Saxophone" sculpture (30x18x6) is the second sculpture in sculptor Bruce Gray's series of distorted musical instruments. This version is a saxophone with multiple extra parts added on, including various size spheres, a spiral, and several antique cash register keys. This sculpture combines Bruce's love for musical instruments, with just a dash of Dr.Seuss.

"Cityscape" (36x48x3) by sculptor Bruce Gray is a wall sculpture of a city scene constructed of welded steel rods, plasma cut letters, and painted black. It is raised about 3" off the wall to give you those cool shadows. This commissioned wall sculpture is at Vanguard-Fine commercial real estate office in New York. The "VF" is the company's logo. You may order a similar style wall sculpture for $3500.

The "Shark" wall sculpture by Bruce Gray (48x55) is fabricated from hand bent 1/4 inch stainless steel rod. This shark was made for an exhibit on Sharks at The Everhart Museum of Natural History, Science, & Art in Scranton, PA. You can commission one in this size for $1000. To fabricated the sharks in 1/4" stainless rod, it requires an oxygen/acetylene torch to heat up the rod for the tight bends. Bruce also offers a slightly smaller version of the shark in 1/8" steel rod at steel shark.

I make these shark sculptures not only because of my love for these awesome creatures, but because sharks just look so damn cool. They are the epitome of exquisite natural design. A creature whose evolution had already reached near perfection millions of years ago.

Bruce states that: I fell in love with the ocean and it's extraordinary creatures at a young age from watching Jacques Cousteau on TV. I have been scuba diving for about 45 years, and have had quite a few amazing shark experiences. I have always been fascinated by sharks, and I think they are one of the most beautiful creatures on the planet. I love to watch them swim, and find them absolutely mesmerizing. I have been lucky enough to scuba dive among tiger sharks, blue sharks, nurse sharks, angel sharks, and I have gently handled several horn sharks. My love of these creatures has made them the subject matter of several of my sculptures over the years, and I will continue to use them as inspiration in the future.
