Marquis Magazine #18 article and photograph of High Heel Shoe Sculpture
Remember the aluminum Brobdingnagian shoes from MARQUIS issue 16? Well USA artist Bruce Gray has been busy since then cutting, snipping, bending, forming, shaping, welding, painting and polishing a new pediform sculpture in the shape of a lovely red platform sandal. We're following his work with interest - if he carries on in this upward direction, a pair of Bruce's thigh-length boots could well need to be topped out with a set of those red flashing lights employed to warn off low flying aircraft. Show me some less expensive miniature high heel shoe sculptures. Show me the other Marquis Magazine article on Bruce's fetish shoe sculptures.
